It's Gary's world.
The rest of Washington just lives in it.
How it started
Gary watched the news. Then he took out the parts that made sense. What was left fit on a sheet of printer paper, so he cut it out, glued it to a stick, and stood it in front of a cardboard Capitol.
That was Capital Sticks. Gary created it, writes it, produces it, and stars in it. On the show he plays the intern, the only sane person in Washington, because somebody had to and nobody else applied. Off the show he is the boss. Both jobs pay exactly the same. Nothing.
Season 1 ran ten episodes on printer paper and a glue stick. A deadpan narrator treated Congress like a nature documentary. A senator’s tie flipped with the polls. A congresswoman beat the market on every trade. A lobbyist’s money bag grew every time he got his way. And Gary asked the obvious question, over and over, until security was called.
Then the show got picked up. Robert Dinero became the money person. His bag grew. The money bought better paper: Season 2 is premium cardstock, and it premieres Sunday, November 1.
The deal
Everyone gets roasted. Both parties. The press. The lobbyists. Hollywood. Pro athletes who just signed a 300 million dollar contract and still need you to download an app. If you have a side, your side gets it too. There is a guy whose whole job is making sure both parties look exactly as dumb. Hardest working man in America. It’s Gary.

The parody notice
A PARODY. All voices are impressions. None of this is real. Most of it happened.
Capital Sticks is a work of parody and satire. All characters are cartoon caricatures. All voices are AI-generated impressions created for comedic commentary. They are not the real people, and no real person said these words. No real person, politician, celebrity, athlete, network, company or organization endorsed, sponsored or participated in this show. All commercials are fake. All products, brands and celebrities in the commercials are made up. The actors listed on the Cast page are also made up. Gary is real. Probably.
